About the Parish
The parish of Christ the King and Our Lady is made up of the former parishes of Christ the King, Our Lady of Good Help, Wavertree and St Paschal Baylon, Childwall. The three parishes were merged in 2005 to form one new Parish. In 2025 Christ the King and Our Lady Parish will celebrate its 100 th anniversary. The parish is currently served by a parish priest, three deacons and two sisters of the Cross and Passion.
Based upon our own experience of God, we try to live out the Gospel values in everything we do - be that at home, in our work place and in our community prayer.
Our parish prayer is "Lord deepen in us our love for you today, so that in all things we may find our good and the good of others".
